Luxuria is a vision brought to life by Gilda Cristina Banos; a vision she had after an extensive career working in the luxury fashion industry. Gilda was raised in Boston and has spent most of her life between Boston and Miami. She spent more than a decade working for world-renowned Italian luxury brand, Gucci, accumulating experiences within the high-fashion industry and management. Due to the nature of her work, frequent travels and the challenges they posed, her unique vision of Luxuria started to take form more and more with each trip.
Gilda came to realize the importance of travel as part of one’s lifestyle and formed the belief that one should not have to compromise luxury, ease, or efficiency in doing so. After conquering her own challenges of settling into a new city, she came across a number of people, such as international students, expats, foreign executives and others with similar experiences. By getting to know them during her tenure at Gucci, she became aware of the challenging encounters and struggles they faced in diverse cities like Boston.
As a result, Gilda decided to apply her customer-satisfaction skills beyond fashion and the wardrobe, and into every aspect of these people’s luxury lifestyle. She has set out to provide more accessible concierge services to assist people maintain or elevate their lifestyle, grant their wishes, settle in a new city or make some of their dreams come true.
